  1. Q. Can I hire a specific car colour?
    A. Every attempt will be made to provide you with the colour requested. 
  2. Q. Can I get Hertz loyalty points for my booking?
    A. Yes, please provide your membership number and the points will be transferred at the end of the hire.
  3. Q. Can I book through American Express?
    A. Yes, we are a partner of American Express however it is best to book with us direct. 
  4. Q. What is the minimum rental age?
    A. Minimum age to hire is 25 years, however this could change depending on the vehicle. 
  5. Q. Can I pay by Debit Card instead of Credit Card?
    A. We do accept Debit Cards subject to additional checks.
  6. Q. How do I pay the security deposit?
    A. You can pay via Credit Card or Debit Card.
  7. Q. What level of insurance am I covered for when I hire the car?
    A. All Hertz Dream Collection vehicles come with insurance, however you are liable for any charges up to your respective excess amount per incident. In the event of negligence such as but not limited to mis-fuelling or leaving the key in the vehicle and the vehicle is stolen, you are liable up to the value of the vehicle.
  8. Q. Can you guarantee me the exact vehicle?
    A. In most instances we will provide the vehicle booked, however sometimes we have to provide an alternative vehicle for circumstance beyond our control.
  9. Q. Can I take the car abroad and drive in Europe?
    A. Yes, we do allow vehicles to be taken abroad, and would need at least 24 hours notice. Additional fees will apply.
  10. Q. Can I pay by cash?
    A. Cash is not acceptable however at the end of your hire you can settle payment by cash, only at our Bayswater location.
  11. Q. Can I get a refund if I return the vehicle back early?
    A. No refunds are given on early terminations.
  12. Q. When is payment taken for the hire?
    A. Payment is taken 48 hours prior to pickup.
  13. Q. Can I return the hire vehicle if your office is closed?
    A. All vehicles must be returned within branch office hours.
  14. Q. Can I reduce my excess to zero?
    A. We do not offer excess reduction.
  15. Q. What happens to my excess if I have an accident that isn't my fault?
    A. Once the third party have admitted liabilty and settle the cliam then we will refund your deposit.
  16. Q. Is smoking allowed in your vehicles?
    A. It is now by law that no smoking is allowed in hire vehicles. A charge up to £500 would be applied.
